Digital Activists will work with a nationally recognised charity, the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) and be active in local communites by promoting the use of technology.

The DAIN project will offer its volunteers (Digital Activists):

• Experience of working with information and communication technology (ICT)
• Short training course (How to be a Digital Activist) with travel expenses and access to childcare
• Experience of working in communities with full support and guidance from Digital Activist Coordinators
• Access to a pool of resources such as laptops and digital cameras
• The opportunity to be selected for a European study trip
