Digital Activist Inclusion Network (DAIN)
DAIN is an exciting volunteer project working across the East Midlands. DAIN aims to promote digital inclusion by encouraging people to use technology with the help of volunteers (Digital Activists).
We’re looking for enthusiastic, unemployed people with experience of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) who can commit a few hours a week. Digital Activists will be open to new opportunities as well as being friendly and approachable.
Digital Activists will work with a nationally recognised charity, the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) and be active in local communites by promoting the use of technology.
Key purpose of the DAIN project
DAIN is an action research volunteer project part funded by the European Social Fund and designed to develop, test and deliver approaches to challenge the digital divide and help widen participation in employment and learning across the East Midlands.
